BIO: Before working in the legal field, I worked as a consultant focused on communications to increase profitability in the heavy equipment industry. I taught clients and their teams strategies to streamline language to actualize the preferred result—especially I taught a course on non-violent communication to reach desired outcomes. It set the foundation for my work in the legal field—it is essential to see the bigger picture as well as the nuance of each issue.

I have a blended family—two step children and two children with my husband. When we found ourselves in court for a modification, the only way to help with the stress, confusion and anxiety was to educate myself about the process. This system is counterintuitive.
